Magenta Telekom is the Austrian operating subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom AG, marketed under the Magenta brand since 2019 (previously T-Mobile Austria). It is Austria's second-largest network operator with 24.9% market share per Q2 2025 RTR data.

Magenta's commercial differentiator is raw download speed: Opensignal scored Magenta at 187.51 Mbps overall download - the highest among Austrian operators. The advantage is most visible in dense urban areas where Magenta's 5G+ network reaches consumer devices.

The brand portfolio includes Magenta (premium) and Hot (discount/Hofer-branded supermarket prepaid). The flagship bundle is Magenta One, combining mobile contract + cable broadband + Magenta TV at a household discount - Magenta operates Austria's largest cable broadband network as the legacy UPC Austria assets.

Coverage trails A1 in alpine and rural areas but is competitive in Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg, and Innsbruck.
