A1 Telekom Austria is Austria's largest mobile network operator with 36.2% market share per the Q2 2025 RTR (Austrian regulator) data. It serves 4.96 million consumer SIMs and runs the most extensive cellular infrastructure in the country.

A1 is independently scored at 8.4/10 Opensignal coverage - the highest among Austrian operators. Its differentiator is alpine and rural coverage: where Magenta and Drei drop signal in the Tyrolean Alps, the Lower Tauern, or Burgenland, A1 holds the connection.

The brand portfolio includes A1 (premium), bob (discount), and Yesss! (A1 MVNO sold at supermarkets). Additionally, independent MVNOs Spusu and educom run partly on A1 network sites.

A1 is owned by Telekom Austria Group, itself majority owned by América Móvil (Carlos Slim's telecoms holding). Beyond mobile, A1 offers A1 Xplore TV and A1 Net & Phone fixed broadband bundles.
